The Carnival of Badajoz has a characteristic note that differentiates it from all others: the fact that the vast majority of its inhabitants take to the streets in costume with joy and a desire to have fun.
The visitor who arrives for the first time to our Carnival, is amazed. Because it is, as we say, the whole city in the street, in the best of the festivities in the region. A colorful, magical show, full of color and imagination, creativity, variety and taste, which entertains and amuses just watching it and much more participating and living the party from within.
The shows, performances, parades, contests and all the activities until the Burial of the Sardine that puts the finishing touch to the party, register a large number of people in the best atmosphere.
