Forms are now available in the group area for murgas, comparsas and artefactos to register for the various stages of the “Street Carnival” and the “Unidas de Plaza en Plaza” activity.
On Saturday, 14 February, from 12:00 to 15:00 and from 17:00 to 20:00, there will be non-stop performances by children’s, adult and street murgas on the various stages set up. These are: Plaza de la Soledad, Plaza Alta, Calle Francisco Pizarro and Plaza López de Ayala.
On Monday 16 February, the adult and street murgas will perform on the street stages from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm.
The “Plaza en Plaza” activity will take place on Friday 20 February from 7pm. Participating groups can choose between Plaza de Conquistadores, Plaza de San Atón, Plaza de España, and the plaza next to Calle Lady Smith in Cerro Gordo.
The murgas, meanwhile, will perform in Plaza López de Ayala, Calle Francisco Pizarro, and Plaza de la Soledad.
As for the artefacts, those that register will participate in the exhibition located on Avenida de Entrepuentes.
Groups registered in official competitions organised by Badajoz City Council will have priority when registering. From 2 February until Friday 6 February at 12 noon, street groups that wish to do so may register in the available spaces.
Once the registration period has ended, the complete schedule of performances and the map of locations will be published.
