A Badajoz Carnival Murga is a musical group that performs satirical songs, mainly during the Badajoz Carnival and in the series of activities that take place before, during and after it.
COMBA is the Official Murgas Competition of the Badajoz Carnival. The groups perform during several elimination rounds at the López de Ayala Theatre. The COMBA Grand Final is held after the Official Proclamation on the Friday when Carnival begins.
