The Badajoz Carnival entertainment group is made up of a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 60 members. The costumes have a common theme, and there is no established dance troupe. The music comes from amplifiers, and if live music is chosen, it can only be played on instruments carried by the performers. Carts, devices, wheelbarrows, or any type of trailer may not be used for this purpose. Costumes that have been used in the last five years are not permitted.
